Recycling and Life Lessons Go Together.

City Kids visited a community re-use organization. The kids learned how the organization helps families work on their homes for a fraction of the usual cost by utilizing materials others discard. They also learned how the organization donates to families in need, helps homeless families with things they need and employment, and how they offer employment to people who have previously been incarcerated. For a hands on project, the kids made wind chimes and other fun things out of spare metal parts. It was a fun, educational, and humbling day for all. :)
