City Kids Poetry!

In our writing class today, the kids focused on poetry. They covered several authors, including Shel Silverstein and Langston Hughes; following, they wrote their own poems and shared with each other. Poetry is a great way to get kids writing and thinking about how words mean, not just what they mean.
