The Human Body!

A cardiologist gave City Kids a fabulous lesson about the human body. They learned about the different functions of our organs, and they even got to hold organs that had been specially treated to be handled. The kids also learned a bit about oddities in medicine; the kids were intrigued by enlarged, amputated limbs, and surgical procedures during the civil war. We might have some budding doctors in our midst!
