Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton!
Recently, our kids met with Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton! The Congresswoman was generous with her time and kind to our young bunch. The kids had questions prepared for her about government, and she graciously answered all the questions that came her way. It was a super exchange and a great opportunity for our kids. Thanks, Congresswoman Norton!
Following our visit with the Congresswoman, the kids were allowed to explore a committee room that one of our parent's grandfather often worked in when he was a member in Congress.
And here they are under the picture of our parent's grandfather. He looks like he's about to say, "O.K. kids, now it's time to get to work."
