City Kids Stories!

This week, for City Kids Stories, our kids listened to narratives about storytelling. Thinking about the process of writing, and the importance of storytelling, is a way to get kids to think more deeply about the stories they would like to tell. Following our reading session, the kids were all very excited to write and illustrate their own short books. They spent a lot of time on their stories, and after lunch, they read them to each other. It was a great way for our kids to practice their writing, reading, illustrating, and public speaking!
