Flocks, Schools, and Colonies in the animal kingdom.  

 

 

 

 

The kids continued with their Oceans of the World Unit.  This week they reviewed Pangea, continental drift, and the water cycle.

 

 

Farm skills in 1771!

 

Learning to pound corn. 

 Making candles.

Making fire! 

 Exploring an 18th century house.

 

For a lesson about perception, our Arts Exploration program coordinator led City Kids on a tour of the Robert Irwin exhibition at The Hirshorn.  

 

 

 

 

 

 The kids were given cut out silhouettes of their faces to make their own optical illusions.
